In this research I examine the economist for politicalcartoon and rhetorical strategies of representing Sino-African relations toascertain the kind of media portrayal is diffused. I also juxtapose this representationwith cartoons coming out of Chinese newspaper (China Daily Africa Weekly, actually) and raise some suggestions as to how these are controversial.
